The Stage Where Legends Played

Our live music stage isn’t just any stage: it’s the same one where Waylon Jennings himself got his start. Long before he was a country outlaw, Jennings was a regular here, playing his raw, honky-tonk style for the Coolidge crowd. It was in this very building that he honed the sound that would redefine country music: gritty, rebellious, and unapologetically authentic.

During his Coolidge years, Jennings pulled double duty as a DJ at KCKY radio (later KDDL) while gigging at the Goose. That period led to some of his earliest recordings, including songs from his album JD’s Waylon Jennings released on BAT Records in the 1960s.

We honor that legacy every year with our Waylon Jennings Birthday Bash, a celebration of the outlaw sound and the stage that helped launch it. And we keep the live music tradition strong with shows every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday. From local country acts to rock bands that shake the walls, the Goose is still where Coolidge comes to listen, dance, and cut loose.
